Mosul residents become refugees in their own country

March 27, 2017, Hammam al-Alil camp, Eastern Mosul, Nineveh province, Iraq. After a US air strike hit and killed dozens of Mosul residents, a lull in the fighting was imposed by Iraqi forces in order to let rescue workers remove the dead and injured from the targeted area. Any military pushes seem to have been halted for a while before it will be resumed to push deeper into the old part of Mosul still under the control of ISIS. (Jonathan Alpeyrie/SIPA)
